Yesterday we drove down to Tucson where my Mom is from and ate at this little resteraunt.Karichimaka.
My mom remembers riding there horses out to South Tucson and they would eat there. Not much has changed. They had the best green corn tamales. This was the reason we drove 4 hours roundtrip. It wasnt bad with good company.
Here she is on the way home accepting her many Happy Birthday Calls. Everybody loves Cathy.
